Watch: The World's Most Expensive Car Crash Tests

Every car that goes on the road must first pass through collision tests. Exotic cars are no exception.

When you boast world-class power and acceleration like a Lamborghini or Pagani, you also need world-class protection in case something goes terribly wrong.

The problem is that these supercars are extremely expensive and/or built in a very limited number. Destroying a Honda Civic in order to validate its crashworthiness is no big deal, but it’s a different story with a Koenigsegg Regera!

The YouTube channel The Top Ones has a compilation of high-priced cars in various collision tests. It starts with more mainstream models such as the Ford Mustang, Dodge Challenger and BMW Z4, then turns to more exclusive vehicles like the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, Lamborghini Murcielago, Pagani Huayra and the aforementioned Koenigsegg Regera.

Watching such beautiful automobiles get completely wrecked can be tough, even for the sake of safety.
