Refreshed in 2013, a major update of the CX-9 is expected in the near future. Meanwhile, the current elegant crossover is back with its roomy and chic 7-seat interior. Powered by a strong 3.7-litre V6 making 273 horsepower, the CX-9 is offered in front- (GS) or all-wheel drive (opt. GS, std. GT). A six-speed automatic transmission with a manual mode is standard for all models. This combo allows the CX-9 to offer a 1,588-kg (3,500-lb.) towing capacity.
