More popular with our southern neighbours, the Avalon is virtually unchanged for 2009. It is available only in the XLS version, which comes with a wide assortment of luxurious characteristics. Bigger than the Camry, the Avalon uses several of its mechanical and structural elements. For instance, it gets the Camry's 3.5-litre V6 engine, giving it great power. Of course, the Avalon is a car designed to be comfortable above all. Its performance on the road is good, but its suspension is relatively soft.
