The Subaru Legacy provides an alternative to standard mid-size sedan fare - and throws in all-wheel drive at no extra charge. The Subaru Legacy, which is additionally available with advanced safety systems like Subaru EyeSight, can be powered by either a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine (173 horses) or a 3.6-liter six-cylinder unit (256 horsepower and 247 lb-ft of torque). Transmission options for the Legacy include a six-speed manual, a continuously-variable automatic, and a five-speed automatic.
