Introduced way back in 2008, the first and only generation of the GT-R remains Nissan’s flagship sports car. It makes the most of a twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre V6 engine, each unit being hand-assembled by a single technician. Base models generate 565 horsepower, which are transferred to all four wheels via a six-speed dual-clutch transmission. For extra performance, there’s the GT-R NISMO delivering 600 horsepower. A new generation isn’t too far off.
