Toyota Planning GT-86 Sedan?

Rumors are swirling regarding the possible development of a four-door Toyota GT 86. In North America, the Toyota GT 86 is known as the Scion FR-S.

The news comes from a website called Carsales.au down in Australia. According to their reporting, a source at Toyota says the sedan project is a go and there is even a possibility of a shooting brake (sports wagon) version.

Chief engineer Tetsuya Tada even mentioned something along those lines his blog, and he is known to want to produce a variety of vehicles based on the GT 86.

“It’s just my personal dream that the GT 86 could become a family like what BMW has done with the MINI family. I hope that happens,” wrote Tada.
