Honda Would Like a Competitor to the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ

After GM and Nissan recently declared their intention to develop a rear-wheel drive sport coupe designed to compete with the popular Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ, rumors are abuzz that Honda plans to do the same.

Like the FR-S and BRZ, Honda also plans to offer a rear-wheel drive sports car – something it has not had in its lineup since the S2000 was cancelled after the 2009 model year.

In 2014, Honda will present an affordable concept coupe with production as early as 2015 or 2016.
