Multiple powertrain options are available, starting with two gasoline engines that produce 191 and 281 horsepower, respectively. The Sorento HEV (hybrid) is fuel-efficient, burning only 7 L/100 km, and the Sorento PHEV (plug-in hybrid) enables pure electric range of up to 55 km. The adventure-oriented X-Pro model is well-suited to Canadian roads.
