The Chevrolet Equinox is a compact crossover that has a little something to do with the success that General Motors is currently enjoying. In other words, it’s selling like hotcakes. Besides its basic four-cylinder engine, there’s a powerful 264-hp V6 that gives it a better towing capacity. Only one six-speed automatic transmission is offered. The Equinox also gives the choice between front- and all-wheel drive and is very well equipped.
