Legendes de Bugatti: Remembering Ettore

Bugatti has once again drawn upon its rich history to build the last car in the Legendes de Bugatti series. This time, after honouring the achievements of Black Bess, Rembrandt Bugatti, Jean-Pierre Wimille, Meo Constantini and Jean Bugatti, the manufacturer now pays tribute to the founder himself, Ettore Arco Isidoro Bugatti.

This Grand Sport Vitesse will be limited to three cars, and the price will be around $3.5 million. The Bugatti will feature hand-polished aluminium bodywork at the front and tinted carbon fibre at the back. This arrangement is based on the 1932 Bugatti Type 41 Royale.

Inside, Bugatti uses two types of leather (a first for the manufacturer) and carbon fibre accents tinted in the same blue as the exterior bodywork.

The engine is the same old W16 developing 1200 horsepower. With it, the Grand Sport Vitesse can reach up to 375 km/h.

This is the last vehicle in the Legendes de Bugatti series, and the whole collection will be showcased at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance on August 15.
