2015 Chevrolet Tahoe Will Deter Thieves Like Never Before

The 2015 edition of the Chevrolet Tahoe offers a high level of security to discourage thieves, in addition to incorporating a multitude of technologies to prevent accidents.

To deter thieves it offers:

- A lock on the steering column, which will prevent the theft of the vehicle by pushing or towing;
- Lateral keys, which prevents lock picking;
- More robust construction which prevents opening the doors with a metal bar, or other similar tools.

LT and LTZ versions offer optional:

- Glass breakage sensors;
- Motion sensors within the vehicle;
- A tilt steering wheel;
- A special key control system.

There are four different technological approaches which activate an alarm system when the vehicle is raised, glass is broken, or if motion is detected within the vehicle.

To better avoid collisions

Chevrolet Tahoe 2015 also includes many advanced technologies designed to prevent collisions. Some of them are standard, the rest optional.

Among these include:

- Front collision alert system;
- The rear cross traffic alert system;
- Lane change warning;
- Lane change assistance;
- Adaptive cruise control;
- Front park assist .

Available as an option, there is also a seat safety alert which produces directional vibrations to warn the driver of possible collision risks.
