The Volkswagen Jetta received a mid-cycle update last year and returns for 2023 with only minor equipment revisions. Under the hood of this German compact sedan is a turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine that produces 158 horsepower along with 184 lb-ft. of torque. Meanwhile, the sportier Jetta GLI increases those numbers to 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft., respectively. In both cases, customers can select a manual or automatic transmission.
