Refreshed and updated last year, the Volkswagen Jetta is a compact sedan that combines good handling and superior comfort with an attractive list of features for the price. The base engine (a turbocharged 4-cylinder producing 158 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque) is fuel-efficient and responsive. Meanwhile, the Jetta GLI a.k.a. the four-door Golf GTI delivers 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, providing a pleasant driving experience. It also offers a manual gearbox.
