The Rivian R1S is a luxury electric SUV offering generous interior space and seating for seven. With output ranging from 600-835 horsepower, performance is never an issue, not even with a curb weight of 2.7 tons. An air suspension makes the R1S feel lighter than it actually is while contributing to excellent ride and handling. What about reliability? That’s still a question mark. Following the opening of a first retail space near Vancouver, Rivian plans to expand out east.
