As the first production car introduced by new Swedish luxury brand Polestar, the 1 is a plug-in hybrid coupe that combines two electric motors with a turbocharged and supercharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine. Total output is rated at 619 horsepower. For each of the three model years planned by the company, production in Chengdu, China will be limited to 500 units. In EV mode, drivers can expect to travel 100 kilometres with a fully charged battery.
