Unlike the Range Rover Sport who inspired some design cues, the Velar puts the emphasis on comfort. It offers a trio of engines: a 246-horsepower turbocharged 4-cylinder and a pair of turbocharged 6-cylinder mild hybrid engines. One develops 335 horsepower and the other 395 horsepower. All three engines pair with an 8-speed transmission and standard all-wheel drive. This year, the 360-degree camera system comes standard.
