The 2026 model year marks the end of the Electrified G80. With sales being so minimal, Genesis has decided to prioritize its SUVs in the electric segment, with the GV60 and Electrified GV70. The G80, a midsize sedan, will therefore continue with two combustion powertrains—a 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder or a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6. And let’s not forget the Prestige Black trim, an all-new, all-black variant available exclusively with the V6.
