Wild 2025 Audi RS 6 GT to be Limited to 7 Units in Canada
We sure thought that the 621-horsepower RS 6 Performance we tested last year would be the ultimate expression of Audi’s wicked wagon, but as it turns out, it’s not. The company has just unveiled the new 2025 RS 6 GT, which will be limited to 660 units globally.
This model is based on the aforementioned RS 6 Performance, but with more radical looks inspired by the Audi 90 Quattro race car that dominated the IMSA GTO championship back in 1989. What’s more, it features an adjustable coilover suspension as standard, complete with the necessary tools and instructions for making individual adjustments.

Styled After a Legend
Only 85 units of the 2025 Audi RS 6 GT will be available in the U.S. and a mere seven units in Canada, marking the swan song for the current generation of the RS 6. All North American-bound cars will sport an Arkona White body with red, black and grey graphics as a tribute to the Audi 90 Quattro, which won seven IMSA GTO races on U.S. soil 35 years ago.
In Europe, customers will also have a choice of Nardo Grey, Chronos Grey Metallic, Madeira Brown Metallic and Mythos Black Metallic for the exterior.
The RS 6 GT further stands out with larger front air intakes, a revised Singleframe grille, vertical blades in the front apron and a powerful front splitter integrated into the bumper. Unique 22-inch, six-spoke wheels and side skirts highlight the profile, while a functional diffuser with a vertically centered reflector and a distinctive double wing inspired by motorsport finish off the look in the rear.
The hood and fenders of the RS 6 GT are entirely made of carbon fibre for the first time. Another first is the removal of the roof rails creating an even flatter, sportier silhouette. The model badges at the front and rear come in red, black and grey. Same thing for those on the door sills. A logo is projected on the ground confirming the RS 6 GT’s identity.
Every Car is Numbered
Stepping inside, customers will find the car’s serial number in the limited run of 660 units on the centre console. In Europe and other global markets, the RS 6 GT boasts race-derived carbon fibre seat shells, but since those do not comply with our North American safety standards, the models landing here will house conventional sport seats instead.
Additionally, RS 6 GT badges appear on the steering wheel, armrests, floor mats and the sides of the centre console, while the seat belts are finished in red.
About That Suspension…
Similar to the RS 6 Performance, the twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 under the hood of the RS 6 GT produces 621 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque, all of which is transferred to the four wheels through an eight-speed Tiptronic transmission and quattro AWD system. The rear differential is specifically tuned for the RS 6 GT to make the car more agile and more dynamic, while the revised centre differential reduces understeer.
Speaking of handling, the adjustable coilover suspension lowers the ride height by 10 mm compared to the standard RS 6 Avant. In order to crank up the fun factor even more, a higher spring rate, triple-adjustable dampers and stiffer stabilizer bars (30 percent at the front and 80 percent at the rear) ensure less body roll.
The suspension can be adjusted using tools found in the glove box, but the car must be lifted off the ground to perform the work. As for the tires, the RS 6 GT rides on Continental Sport Contact 7 performance tires in a size of 285/30R22.
How Much?
Production of the 2025 Audi RS 6 GT will begin shortly, with the first deliveries in Europe planned during the third quarter of this year. Timing and pricing details for the seven Canadian-bound units have yet to be announced. Inevitably, this limited-edition model will be more expensive than the RS 6 Performance, which starts at $147,158.
