2023 Chevrolet Corvette 70th Anniversary Celebrates New Milestone

The all-new Z06 won’t be the only star of the Chevrolet Corvette lineup for 2023. The company has just announced a 70th Anniversary special edition to celebrate the iconic sport car’s storied past.

By the way, 70 years make the Corvette the longest-running nameplate of any car on the road today.

Available with the Corvette Stingray (3LT) and Corvette Z06 (3LZ), in coupe and convertible body styles, the 70th Anniversary package stands out with a choice of two unique exterior colours—all-new White Pearl Metallic Tri-coat or Carbon Flash Metallic. Optional stripes come in Satin Gray or Satin Black, respectively.

The 70th Anniversary Edition Corvettes also feature distinct wheels with commemorative wheel centre caps. While the Stingray and Z06 each have separate wheel designs, the wheels share a similar dark finish and Edge Red stripe. Of course, special badging (see photo gallery) is included on the car, but don’t miss the brake callipers and engine cover painted in Edge Red.

Inside, designers have combined two-tone Ceramic leather GT2 or Competition Sport seats with red stitching, red seatbelts and suede microfibre inserts on the seats and steering wheel. The 70th Anniversary Edition logo appears on seats, steering wheel and sill plates. To top it all off, there’s a custom luggage set with red stitching and 70th Anniversary Edition logo.

Production of the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette 70th Anniversary will start sometime around summer. In the meantime, the 2023 Corvette Z06 visualizer, live on Chevrolet.ca, will be updated to include the special package.

By the way, the first-ever retail copy of the new Corvette Z06 will be a 70th Anniversary Edition, and it will cross the auction block at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale this Saturday, Jan. 29.

Even if you don’t select the 70th Anniversary package, Chevrolet says all 2023 Corvettes will feature a commemorative 70th anniversary interior plaque located on the centre speaker grille and a graphic imprinted on the lower rear window.
