This $2M 1963 Ferrari 250 GT Lusso in Montreal Could be Yours

The Ferrari 250 GT Lusso is easily one of the most elegant cars to ever come out of Maranello. It’s also among the most exclusive with just 351 units built from 1963-1964.

One of them, which once belonged to New York Yankees legend Reggie Jackson for more than a decade, is now for sale in Montreal through collector car dealer Automobiles Etcetera.

How much is it? Well, if you have to ask, it’s probably not for you. This 1963 Ferrari 250 GT Lusso is listed at $1.7 million USD, or approximately $2.1 million CAD at today’s exchange rate.

The car was significantly restored many years ago and currently has 30,270 km on the odometer. Judging by the photos, it appears to be in stellar condition. The emerald green paint makes it even more special.

Under the gorgeous body, which was penned by renowned Italian designer Pininfarina, is a 3.0-litre V12 producing 250 horsepower and 188 pound-feet of torque. The engine is mated to a four-speed manual transmission and breathes through dual twin tailpipes.

Inside, the large-diameter, wood-rimmed steering wheel with aluminum spokes beautifully contrasts with dulce de leche-coloured leather on the seats, door panels, centre console and entire rear compartment. There’s a 300 km/h speedometer, although the Ferrari 250 GT Lusso achieved a top speed of 240 km/h.

Man, if we could just win the lottery. Make sure to check out the photo gallery above.
