2017 Ford F-150 Raptor SuperCrew: Bring Your Friends To The Sand Dunes!

When the latest version of the Ford F-150 Raptor was unveiled, we fell in love all over again with this high-performance truck. With its off-road suspension offering more than 30 cm of travel, its chassis that'S 227 kg lighter than last-gen truck and BFGoodrich tires wrapped around 17-inch wheels, this Ford’s fun factor should be pretty much unlimited.

A lot of people are wondering if the 3.5-litre EcoBoost V6 – and the 10-speed automatic transmission it’s paired with - will be charismatic enough to replace the 6.2-litre V8; in an effort to convince more people its new truck is a worthy successor to the original Raptor, Ford presented it in the roomier, four-door SuperCrew version. Compared to the SuperCab model, its wheelbase is stretched by 305 mm, for a total of 3,683 mm.

Both versions of the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor will be built at the Dearborn plant, and they should arrive in dealerships this fall.
