Volkswagen Has Produced 700 000 Vehicles at its Kaluga Factory

The German auto giant announced that it produced its 700 000th vehicle at its assembly plant in Kaluga, Russia.

The car in question is a Volkswagen Polo Highline silver color.

The industrial complex first opened in 2007 and the Polo and Tiguan models are assembled there. The Skoda Fabia is also produced at the factory.

The Volkswagen Group is the largest German Automaker and third largest automaker in the world. The Volkswagen Golf, Beetle and Passat are all on the list of best-selling cars of all-time.

Makes included under the Volkswagen Group include Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Porsche, SEAT, Škoda and, of course, Volkswagen.
