Caterham AeroSeven Unveiled in Singapore

Caterham has unveiled the concept AeroSeven as part of the Grand Prix weekend festivities. The model is only a prototype but production will begin in autumn 2014.
The engineers of the British firm have used the chassis of the Seven CSR model to realize their project. With its carbon fiber body, the concept has an announced weight of only 600 pounds.

Its engine is a naturally-aspirated four cylinder 2.0-liter, supplied by Ford Europe, and produces 240 horsepower. This is the same engine found under the long hood of the Caterham Seven 485.
For the first time, a car built by Caterham will have electronic traction control. The prototype takes less than 4 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h.
