Infiniti Teases Sketch of Q30 Compact Car Ahead of Frankfurt Debut

Infiniti is teasing a sketch of the new Q30 compact luxury vehicle ahead of its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month.
The vehicle will compete with other luxury compacts such as the Lexus CT and BMW 1-Series.

“This Infiniti Q30 Concept is a prelude to the product portfolio expansion which underpins our aggressive global growth strategy,” said Johan de Nysschen, President of Infiniti.

“In our quest to appeal to the modern, young-minded premium customer, the Infiniti Q30 Concept has a distinctive style and reaches new levels of product quality.”

Visualy, it takes many cues from the Etherea concept car and mechanically it will share the same platform as the Mercedes A and B Classes.

Infiniti is using the name recognition of three-time F1 champion Sebastian Vettel to promote the new compact luxury car, even giving him a role in the development as was the case for the new Q50.
