With its ladder frame, the Toyota 4Runner is one of the last “true” off-road vehicles. It isn’t the smoothest in town, but when you take it off beaten path, nothing can stop this vehicle. That’s thanks to its transfer case equipped with a low range, its skid plates and its generous approach and departure angles.
