The styling is classic but offers sporty overtones while the platform is one of the most rigid on the market. The basic C230 version comes with a 2.5-litre V6 engine producing 201 horsepower. But fans of performance will want to look at the C63 AMG, with its high-powered 453 horsepower V8 engine.
