Assembled in Mexico, the GX and GS trims of the Mazda3 share a 155-horsepower 2.0-litre SKYACTIV engine, while the 184-horsepower 2.5-litre GT model still comes from Japan. All trim lines are available as a sedan or 5-door hatchback, called “Sport,” and every combination is available with your choice of a manual or automatic 6-speed gearbox. The rumour mill is giving out strong hints that a new Mazdaspeed model is in the works.
