2015 Toyota Camry... Up Close and Personal

The XSE comes with a fin on the trunk. Ruby Flare is a new colour for 2015.

The more basic trims don’t have a fin, but they do have a spoiler. Silver Celestio is another new colour for 2015.

The XSE sported Michelin Primacy MXM4 225/40R18 tires. While the front and rear track gained 10 mm, the width of the tires has not changed.

The LE only comes with steel wheels with wheel covers. The tires are Firestone Affinity 205/55R16.

The tail lights are longer and lower than in the past.

The C pillar is the same as before, but the designers added this insert to make it look narrower.

The hood now features some pretty big grooves.

The mirror posts are aerodynamic. Look at the small raised line across on the vertical portion: It helps with the aerodynamics.

On the 2015 model, the door mouldings were changed for better soundproofing.

On all models, the trunk hinges have now been covered.

All 2015 Camrys come with a rear back-up camera.

The 2015 Camry’s 3.5-litre V6 is exactly the same as it was in 2014. It delivers 268 horsepower at 6,200 rpm and 248 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,700 rpm.

The 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine produces 178 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 170 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,100 rpm.

The Camry’s interior hasn’t changed much. While several aspects were redesigned, their layout is the same.

The interior of the XSE obviously comes with much more equipment than the LE’s. In the XLE, there’s a wireless phone charger. This option is not available on the rest of the line.

The seats haven’t changed, which means they are just as comfortable as before. The XSE comes with leather and suede seats while the XLE gets leather only.

2015 Toyota Camry XSE

The 2015 Camry’s dashboard features curves that are reminiscent of the Corolla.

On the XSE, the controls for the heated seats have been moved to the storage compartment on the console.

On all models, the transmission is a six-speed automatic.

The rear seats are the same as before. Since the passenger compartment’s size is unchanged, head and legroom are also the same as in the past.
