Otogo Presents Mobilis Corporation's 100th Anniversary Gala

Otogo.ca will once again partner with the Mobilis Corporation to present the organization’s centennial this Wednesday, November 16th. To do so, the pre-owned vehicle platform will team up with the Corporation des concessionnaires automobiles du Québec (CCAQ) and SSQ Insurance.

The prestigious event, which will be held in the Port of Quebec City's Cruise Terminal, will host many dealers and partners of the Mobilis Corporation. This will be an opportunity to honour the presidents’ hard work and dedication in expanding their organisation and making it sustainable. The festive evening will also feature musical performances by the highly talented Gregory Charles.

“It’s a great honour for me to be Mobilis Corporation’s president for its 100th year of service to car dealers, said Louis Desmeules, president of the Mobilis Corporation and CEO of Porsche Quebec (on the right in the photo). My predecessors have invested their time and energy in developing services for dealers and it’s important for me to continue their great work.”

What is the Mobilis Corporation?

Founded in 1923 as the Association des marchands d’automobiles de Québec (AMAQ), then known from 1981 to 2013 as Corporation des concessionnaires d’automobiles de la régionale de Québec (CCARQ), the Mobilis Corporation now gathers 145 car and heavy truck dealers in the National Capital, Charlevoix, Portneuf, Quebec South shore, Beauce and Montmagny regions.

They're also the organisers of the Quebec City International Auto Show, the Quebec Heavy Truck Show and the Quebec Electric Vehicle Show, in addition to managing the Mobilis Foundation, whose mission is to help individuals, families or non-profit associations facing a mobility-related need.

“Over the years, our organisation has grown as a corporation, and also as a promoter of major events, added Charles Drouin, CEO of the Mobilis Corporation. As a manager, it’s a real privilege for me to be a part of a centennial company like the Mobilis Corporation.”
