McLaren 720S Gets 10-Unit Special Edition Only for Canada

McLaren has now been selling cars in Canada for 10 years, so some sort of celebration is in order. Pfaff Automotive, which serves as the British automaker’s importer in the country, has ordered 10 examples of the 720S uniquely prepared by the team at McLaren Special Operations.

The package is called “Canada 10th Anniversary MSO 1/10” and is applied to three 720S coupes and seven 720S Spyder convertibles.

First, the Pure Black body is a nod to the first McLaren sold in Canada back in 2012, an MP4-12C, while the various orange accents honour McLaren’s Can-Am racing victories dating back to 1967.

Next, the wheels sport a dark Stealth finish, and in typical Canadian fashion a maple leaf adorns the hood and the rear wing.

Each car also comes with several must-have options including the electrochromic glazed roof and Performance Pack with Pirelli Corsa tires.

“We are so excited to celebrate the legacy of McLaren in Canada, with a nearly-unbroken string of wins in the legendary Can-Am series, and 13 Formula 1 wins, McLaren has always set an incredibly high benchmark for performance in Canada,” said Christopher Pfaff, President and CEO of Pfaff Automotive.

“With three retail points in Canada, and over 1,000 McLaren cars sold, the brand has gone from strength to strength on Canadian roads as well,” he added. “These 10 special 720S celebrate both legacies and give our Canadian customers something special to get excited about.”

The ten McLaren 720S Canada 10th Anniversary MSO 1/10 special edition models are made available to all three McLaren dealerships across Canada, located in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal.
