Volkswagen Unveils Pricing for 2022 Tiguan

The Volkswagen Tiguan is getting a mid-cycle update for the 2022 model year. As previously reported, the changes are mostly cosmetic, with a revised front fascia, some tweaks in the rear and a more modern interior featuring the next generation of Volkswagen’s infotainment system.

All four trim levels are powered by the returning 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 184 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque. For 2022, 4MOTION all-wheel drive is included as standard and paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Yesterday, Volkswagen Canada announced full pricing details for the 2022 Tiguan. The base Trendline model starts at $32,995 plus $1,950 freight and PDI. It features an 8.0-inch digital instrument cluster, 6.5-inch centre touchscreen, 17-inch alloy wheels along with heated seats and steering wheel. You can add a third row for an extra $800.
