The Car Guide Celebrates its 2017 Best Buys

During a ceremony held today in Toronto, The Car Guide team handed out trophies celebrating their 2017 Best Buys.

As unveiled in the Le Guide de l’auto 2017 buyer’s guide as well as on The Car Guide’s website, there are 26 categories in which the team of journalists voted in their best choices, including Best New Design. Each new vehicle was noted according to six criteria, being fuel consumption, reliability, safety, infotainment system, driving experience and generation appreciation.

However, we did keep two important awards to be revealed during the ceremony. The title of the Best New Car of the Year was handed to the Chevrolet Bolt EV, while the Audi Q7 took the crown as the Best New Utility Vehicle of the Year.
