nanoFlowcell Coupe: Half-Electric Car, Half-Hot Wheel

The nanoFlowcell Quant E made a lot of noise last year at the Geneva International Motor Show (it doesn’t actually makes any noise, but that’s part of the appeal): Liechtenstein’s only manufacturer not only made a sleek-looking sedan, but their car also ran on ionized fluids (like salt water). The car also boasted nearly 1,000 horsepower from its electric motors.

The car’s latest version, the Quant F, will be unveiled in Geneva. Because of various upgrades, the vehicle now has 800 km of range, can reach up to 300 km/h (in theory) and received the approbation from the German government for road-testing.

However, a new press release states that they are planning a new version of their car for Geneva; in addition to the Quant F, we will see a new concept at their booth. Obviously based on the Quant F sedan, the concept is somewhat shorter, and likely only features two seats. The sleek looks of the sedan are now gone, replaced by a funny shape that reminds me of the Hot Wheels of my youth.

We are eager to see what this independent manufacturer has in mind for its concept. A sport version of the Quant F, maybe?
