Cadillac to Offer Small Crossover, More Diesels

In an interview given to Edmunds magazine, Robert Ferguson, vice president of Cadillac, confirmed that the company may offer a smaller “urban” SUV and perhaps more diesel models.

Concerning the urban SUV, one can easily imagine it will find itself alongside the popular Audi Q3, BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA.

With regard to diesel motors, embracing them in the brand’s lineup might might give Cadillac better traction the European markets, in addition to joining a growing clientele who are fond of this technology in North America.

For Mr. Ferguson, offering more diesel engines will allow the company to have better standards for CO2 emissions.
