Montreal International Autoshow on Pace to Set Nine-Year Attendance High

The 46th Montreal International Auto Show might be on pace for a nine-year high in attendance. Since last Friday, a total of 85,280 visitors have already walked through the doors, compared to 75,020 for the same period last year.

In 2013, the Montreal International Auto Show hosted 184,691 total visitors, a decrease of 10.3% in relation to 2012.

2011 holds the record of the last eight years with a total of 207,208 attendees. If we look at the day-by-day pace of this year’s show compared to 2011, it’s almost identical.

The attendance figures for the last eight years of the show are as follows:

2006: 205 606 visitors
2007: 206 207 visitors
2008: 204 943 visitors
2009: 186 320 visitors
2010: 188 270 visitors
2011: 207 208 visitors
2012: 205 882 visitors
2013: 184 691 visitors

Palais des congrès de Montréal, 2005 : 220 689
