Toyota: Over 6 Million Hybrids Sold

Just nine months after delivering its 5 millionth hybrid vehicle, Toyota announced it has already sold more than 6 million hybrid vehicles.

Recall that the first Toyota Prius hybrid was first released back in 1997. The Prius is thier best-selling hybrid car in the world, having surpassed 3 million units sold.

Today, the Toyota / Lexus group offers a range of 80 hybrid vehicles that are sold in over 80 countries around the world.
