2013 Essen Motor Show : SEMA With German Sauce

You won’t find any Chevrolet Camaros, Dodge Challengers, Ford Mustangs or Honda Civics that have been transformed into street-rods for the next Fast & Furious movie at this show.

The Essen Motor Show is basically an annual gathering of prestigious European tuners, which take advantage of the opportunity to present their latest creations, more often than not, designed for European brands.

The companies are specialists in the transformation of high-end vehicles into road demons. For them, taking a stock Audi S4, giving it a more aggressive style and then tweaking the motor to go from 333 to over 500 horsepower is all run-of-the-mill stuff.

Among the major European companies present, we find the following brands: Abt, AC Schnitzer, Brabus, Hamann, John Cooper Works, Lorinser, Manhart, Mansory, Speed Art, TechArt and many others.
