Spotlight on the 2015 Audi A3 Cabriolet and Audi S3: Testing Them This Week

This week we're off to Monte Carlo, Monaco, to test drive not just the upcoming 2015 Audi A3 cabriolet, but also its high-powered cousin, the 2015 Audi S3 sedan.  2015 marks the first model year that this sportiest version of the German brand's entry-level sedan will make it to Canadian shores.

Dropping the hatchback-only approach that had previously defined the A3 in North America, the A3 cabriolet and the S3 sedan open up the automaker to a new cohort of customers.  The S3, specifically, is aimed at the same group of buyers who are considering the equally-new Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG.  It offers a six-speed, dual-clutch automated manual transmission, a turbocharged power plant, and an affordable starting price.

Check our full first drive report.

In the meantime, you can check out our Audi section to find out more about what the brand has to offer Canadian drivers.
