Bentley SUV to go on Sale in 2016

The all new Bentley SUV will be arriving in 2016 to go head to head with Porsche’s bread and butter money maker - the Cayenne. With 50% of Porsche sales coming from the luxury SUV, it’s an opportunity Bentley seems unwilling to pass up.

Bentley confirmed the SUV will be built in Crewe, England and also released a sketch of a slightly different silhouette than that of the boxy EXP 9 concept pictured above.

"The styling will set it apart from any other SUV on the road and will be true to the Bentley design DNA. It will be the most luxurious and most powerful SUV on the market," Bentley said in a statement.

The Range Rover Sport and BMW X5 are also natural competitors for the new SUV. There is no word on the power plant yet however the concept is able to feature a hybrid drivetrain or even a twin-turbo 6.0L W12 with 600 HP.
