Jaguar F-Type: Limited Seating, Unlimited Fun

At the last Paris Auto Show, Jaguar unveiled the F-Type a two-seat cabriolet derived from the 2011 C-X16 Concept vehicle.

Three powertrains are available: two V6 engines with 340 and 380 horsepower each and a more powerful supercharged 500 horsepower V8 in the F-Type S version. An eight-speed automatic transmission transmits power to the rear wheels. As expected, the chassis and suspension are all aluminium.

More compact than the actual Jaguar offerings, the cabriolet goes head to head with the BMW Z4, Mercedes-Benz SLK, Nissan 370Z Roadster and Porsche Boxster.
