Mercedes and Ducati Celebrate Anniversary

It's been one year since Ducati and Mercedes announced their partnership, and they've decided to celebrate the anniversary of their nuptials with a pair of special edition machines. For those of us that do our best work on four wheels, Mercedes has prepared a version of their most powerful SLK ever: the new SLK 55. Mechanically identical to the normal version, the special Benz celebrates the pairing by sharing it's searing yellow hue with the Streetfighter 848 that Ducati's opted to include in the celebration, and has treated the interior to a few yellow highlights to boot. But perhaps most interesting is the news that Mercedes is considering offering the colour as a regular production order item, should it prove popular.
