On certain vehicles equipped with a 6-speed Aisin transmission, the left front halfshaft may disengage from the transmission and/or break. If this occurs, the vehicle would lose motive power and the park function, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the left front halfshaft for proper engagement in the transmission and replace the left front halfshaft if it’s not properly engaged.
