Certain vehicles may fail to comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 208 - Occupant Protection in Frontal Impacts. The driver and front passenger seat belt extenders may not retract as intended, which could cause the vehicle to fail to comply with the requirements of the standard and increase the risk of injury and/or damage to property in a crash. Correction: Dealers will update the software for the rear control module to correct the issue. Additional information may be available on Transport Canada's website |
