On certain vehicles, the brake pipes to the rear wheels could corrode prematurely. The resultant brake fluid leakage would cause extended stopping distances which could result in a vehicle crash causing property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will remove and discard the noise vibration and harshness pad fitted to the under tray. As well, the rear underfloor and rear cross member brake pipes will be inspected and, if necessary, replaced. Additional information may be available on Transport Canada's website |
