Details |
Certain vehicles may have been assembled with an improperly manufactured Signal Acquisition and Actuation Module (SAM-F). This could interrupt electrical supply to, and impede the functioning of, the wiper system, steering wheel adjustment, headlamp and turn signal operation. Loss of wiper function could hamper the driver's visibility, while a loss of headlamp illumination would render the vehicle less visible to other motorists and pedestrians, as well as affecting the driver's visibility during hours of darkness, possibly resulting in a vehicle crash, causing property damage and/or personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will replace the SAM-F module. Additional information may be available on Transport Canada's website |
