The Volkswagen Passat midsize sedan returns for 2021 with no significant changes. It did receive a series of updates a year ago. Under the hood, look for the same turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 174 horsepower through a six-speed automatic transmission. Fuel economy is not among the best in the segment with an average of 8.7 L/100 km. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are both offered as standard equipment.
