The Tacoma is the intermediate pickup category’s bestseller. A 2.7L 4-cylinder engine is offered on the RWD or 4x4 versions, while the 4.0L V6 can only be added to the 4x4. No less than four transmissions are on the menu, including two manuals (a 5-speed and a 6-speed) and two automatics (a 4-speed and a 5-speed).
