For 2023, a new generation of the Prius makes its debut—the fifth to hit the road in a quarter-century. Two trim levels are part of the lineup including XLE AWD and Limited AWD. That’s right: all-wheel drive is now standard with the Prius. Meanwhile, output is increased from 121 horsepower to 196 horsepower. Aerodynamics was a big part of the design process, and the body is both wider and lower than the previous one.
