Toyota Prius
Introduced last year, the Prius now comes in the rechargeable Prime version. It features an 8.8-kWh battery that recharges in two and a half hours on a 240-volt charger, which will give it 35 kilometres of all-electric range. The Prime's front and tail ends are different from those of the Prius, and it only comes in a four-seat configuration. Its trunk is also smaller. Both versions share a 121-horsepower hybrid powertrain paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission.
