While some automakers are having problems releasing a first hybrid vehicle, Toyota is already offering a 3rd generation of the Prius for 2010. The new Prius is more than ever a four-wheel laboratory: solar panels, intelligent parking assist, Touch Tracer controls… Not bad for ten years in North America! And they managed to improve its main appeal: 3.8 L/100 km fuel-consumption, which is 20 % less than with the previous generation.
